直到前天晚上,我看到關(guān)于孝道、學(xué)習(xí)《弟子規(guī)》的一些文章,突然醒悟到:自己雖自命聰明、勤奮、上進(jìn)、善良,卻運(yùn)氣不好、財(cái)運(yùn)不佳、無法出人頭地,是由于下面原因造成的。

一、瀏覽非法網(wǎng)站、邪淫:

自己為了出人頭地,在外漂泊數(shù)年。雖然學(xué)了不少本領(lǐng),見了不少世面,工作非常努力,雖然不是放生,捐款助學(xué),捐書捐衣服,不時(shí)捐大地之愛,母親水窖,供養(yǎng)寶篋印塔,但是一邊修,一邊漏。

雖然我自詡從來沒有和別的女人做任何茍且之事,但是夜深人靜、失眠、心里煩悶的時(shí)候,就瀏覽不良網(wǎng)站,自瀆后沉沉睡去。

我當(dāng)時(shí)看了幾篇不良醫(yī)生的文章,說自慰是“最好的方法”,“干凈、衛(wèi)生、不傷身”。我自己信佛,卻沒有正知正見,覺得這個(gè)方法“最好”,就算是邪淫,也是最輕的。(愚癡僥幸心,因果卻沒有僥幸的。懺悔?。┎涣坚t(yī)生,害人不淺,害人無數(shù)??!

于是,我厄運(yùn)連連,做了幾家工廠,都是一開始拼命干,做出業(yè)績來,就被擠兌走。

自己怨天尤人,就是沒有想想自己的原因?,F(xiàn)在回頭思考一下,才知道懺悔,才知道不要怨前生如何。今生就沒有好好修行,蒼天已經(jīng)待自己不薄。

后來,回來家鄉(xiāng),和家人住在一起,瀏覽不良網(wǎng)站的次數(shù)少多了。但是依然淫心不已,心情煩惱時(shí),閑極無聊時(shí),就看看。結(jié)果,報(bào)應(yīng)歷歷不爽,次日不是和老婆吵架,就是到單位上和同事不開心,總之報(bào)應(yīng)不斷。

二、不孝父母、惡聲頂撞父母:

深刻懺悔自己的不孝。

孔子說:父母在,不遠(yuǎn)游。我為了自己的事業(yè)發(fā)展,也想逃避家庭矛盾。于幾年前,不聽父母勸告,辭職去了南方。結(jié)果,備嘗辛苦,也沒有發(fā)財(cái)。

回到家鄉(xiāng)后,也多次頂撞父母。

我們?nèi)叶疾恍欧穑臀倚?。我也多次?guī)勸父母不如法的地方,結(jié)果效果不好。我不是巧做方便去勸說,而是惡聲惡氣。

這么多年來,還需要六七十歲的父母看孫子,不時(shí)要他們掏錢接濟(jì)孩子上學(xué)。靜下來想想,父母多么不容易!想想真是慚愧。

我這人有孝心、無孝行。父母生病了,我自己去菩薩前燒香,愿以身代替,替父母消業(yè)障。但是,真見了父母,總是惡聲惡氣。

自己的家庭也擺不平,矛盾重重,尤其是婆媳矛盾。

懺悔。

自己跑了三四十家寺院,到處拜佛祈福,卻放著家中堂上“兩尊真佛”不孝順。

阿彌陀佛!深刻懺悔!

Today,thenaturaldisasterscausedbyenvironmentalpollutionarethreateningthesurvivalofhumanbeings.Theslogansbysocialorganizationsorgovernmentsarenotpowerlessinpreventingofsuchdisasters.Humanbeingsmustgropefortheultimatesolutionforenvironmentpollution.Otherwise,humanbeingswillsoonreceivetheentirekarmaeffectsfromwhattheyhavedone.Suchkarmaeffectswillbringlossoflivesandfortune,shortageoffoodandwater,andvariousdiseases.

WeshouldfindoutthesolutionfromBuddhisminordertopreventsuchdisasters.Buddhistphilosophy,whichemphasizescoexistence,willprovidephilosophicalfoundationaswellasconcretemethodtopreventenvironmentalpollutionandsavetheearth.

TheBuddhadidnotmentionaboutenvironmentalpollutionorsolutionforit,fortherewasnodestructionofnatureorenvironmentalproblemcausedbysuchdestruction.However,ifwelookforconcretemethodbasedonthespiritofcompassion,toprotectnaturalenvironment,wecanrecognizethatfollowingtheBuddha’steachingisnootherthanprotectingofnatureandlivingtogetherwithit,andthatthewayoflifeassuchisalsothewaytoprotectenvironment.

TheBuddhaalreadytaughtusthroughthedoctrineofco-existencehowwecancoexisttogetherwithnature.Thereupon,Buddhistsbelievethattheyhavetoloveallsentientbeingsandletthemnottohaveanyfears,thattheyhavetokeeptheirlivesinfrugalityforthebenefitofallsentientbeings,andthattheyarecautiousnottospendwastefully.Weshouldknowthroughthedoctrineofdependentoriginationthatnatureisnotwhatexistforourexploitation,butwhatsupportsourlivesandthusshouldcoexistwithus.

Itistruethatman’sdesireisthedrivingforceofhumancivilizationintoday.Menhavepursuedmaterialsatisfactionratherthaninternalhappiness.Theytriedtoproducewealthasmuchastheycaninordertosatisfytheirdesire.Thefundamentalcauseofenvironmentalpollutionalsocomesfromhere.Ifentirehumanbeingsabandontheirdesireandpursefrugallife,theirwastesareminimizedandarealsodestructionofenvironment.

IfweBuddhistsunderstand,throughthetruthofdependentorigination,thenecessityofcoexistence,practiceitinoureverydaylife,moderateourdesire,havecompassion,andsavealllivesandresources,environmentwillbeprotectedandthepeaceoftheworldwillberealized.

Therefore,environmentissueswillbegintoberesolved,whenweunderstandtheBuddha’steachingandpracticemoderateandfrugallife.

INTRODUCTION

For2600yearstherehasbeenawide-spread,sustainableandculturedBuddhistcivilizationacrossmanycountriesandworldterritories.Theteachinghadbeenpracticedbythewholespectrumofsociety,fromthehighest(kingsandeducated,upperclass)tolowestclassesoflaymenwomenasthecitizenmassesofsocieties.Buddhistfundamentalteachingprinciplesandthepracticingof6harmonicalprinciplesforlivinginharmonyatBuddhisttemplesillustratetheexamplesoflivinginsharingcaring.Thetemplesandgardensarchitecturaldesignconstruction(withtallboddhitrees)providesthephysical,mentalandspiritualsheltersformillionsinhabitantalloverplacesonearth.

Overtherecentdecadesashumankindarethreatenedwiththeenvironmentalcrisistosavetheearthplanetwithallitslivingspeciesfromchaineddestructions,consequentlytherearemanyprominentBuddhistteachingmasters,distinguishedscholarsandrenownedresearchinstitutionsworld-widehavepublishedandvoicedtheurgentneedstobringBuddhismintomeetingtheflighthead-on.

TheauthorattemptstolookintotheWHAT,WHYANDHOWBUDDHISMANDBUDDHISTPEOPLEINCLUDINGTHESANGHASCANHELPSOLVETHECRISISfromtheperspectivesoftechnicalviewpoint.

CONCLUSION:

Buddhismhasapproachedinpiduals,communitiesandcountriesthroughvariousmeans,forms,causesandconcurs.Byactivelyparticipateinpracticalactivitiesinthejointeffortwithmanyinpiduals,organizationsorcorporationsforlocal,nationalandworld-widedevelopments,BuddhismwillitselfstepfurtherandgodeeperintothepracticinganddemonstratingtheBuddhistTeachings.ThefeedbacksresultedfromtheworkarethedemonstratedvaluesofBuddhismtothesociety.Throughthisalonglastingchangesinthementality,themoralandintellectualattitudesofsocietyandinpidualswillbeconvertedtothesameobjectives

Abstract

半個(gè)世紀(jì)以來,氣候變遷及地球暖化,造成災(zāi)害頻傳,包括熱浪、暴雨、干旱等各種極端氣候不斷上演,并環(huán)環(huán)相扣,而格陵蘭等冰川大面積融化使得海平面上升,迫使小島國家面臨生存危機(jī)。連臺(tái)灣也深受極端氣候所害,無情的八八風(fēng)災(zāi)是臺(tái)灣人一輩子的陰影。隨著影響范圍日漸擴(kuò)大,整個(gè)世界在能源、水資源、糧食都將產(chǎn)生嚴(yán)重失調(diào)。亞洲開發(fā)銀行(ADB:AsianDevelopmentBank)日前發(fā)表的一項(xiàng)研究結(jié)果就指出,如果繼續(xù)忽視氣候變遷問題,亞太國家將面臨糧食和能源短缺、貧窮問題惡化與作物不斷減收等后果。這些氣候衍生之問題不僅只會(huì)在電視新聞上被報(bào)導(dǎo),它會(huì)真實(shí)的在每個(gè)人生活周遭發(fā)生。

Duringthepasthalfcentury,climatechangeandglobalwarminghavecausedfrequentdisasterssuchasheatwaves,heavyrains,anddroughts;allthesedisastersarecloselyconnected.ThemeltingofglaciersinGreenlandiscausingsealeveltoriseandthreateningthesurvivalofislandnations.Taiwanisalsoseverelyinfluencedbyextremeclimates,the88FloodwillhauntTaiwanesepeoplelifelong.Withtheincreaseoftheaffectedarea,therewillbeworldwideimbalanceinenergyresources,waterresources,andfoodsupplies.TheAsianDevelopmentBank(ADB)recentlyreleasedaresearchthatindicates,ifclimatechangecontinuestobeignored,AsianPacificcountrieswillsufferconsequencessuchasshortageinfoodandenergy,worsenedpovertyproblems,andcontinualreductionofcropyield.Theseclimatechangerelatedissueswillnotjustbebroadcastingontelevisionnews;theywilltakeplacearoundeveryone.

根據(jù)?合國氣候變化綱要公約(UNFCCC:UnitedNationsFrameworkConventiononClimateChange)所提出之應(yīng)對氣候變遷的方式為:“減量”與“調(diào)適”。未來全世界將會(huì)限制化石燃料等的使用量,邁入低碳經(jīng)濟(jì)時(shí)代,此蘊(yùn)含著新興產(chǎn)業(yè)革命機(jī)遇與時(shí)代的到來,是項(xiàng)挑戰(zhàn),更是個(gè)機(jī)會(huì),我們應(yīng)緊抓住這個(gè)劇變中之機(jī)遇,扭轉(zhuǎn)時(shí)勢。好比英國從18世紀(jì)中葉帶動(dòng)全球第一波工業(yè)革命后,經(jīng)濟(jì)實(shí)力先繼被美、中、德、日所超越,不過,英國人仍不放棄再崛起之機(jī)會(huì),當(dāng)全世界把地球暖化視為世紀(jì)大威脅時(shí),英國人卻把它視為新的機(jī)會(huì),盼再創(chuàng)低碳新經(jīng)濟(jì)革命。

AccordingtotheUnitedNationsFrameworkConventiononClimateChange(UNFCCC),reductionandadaptationareconsideredassolutionforfightingagainstthethreatofclimatechange.Inthefuture,theworldwillrestrictpetroleumfuelconsumption,andenteranageoflowcarboneconomy.Thisimpliesthearrivalofanewindustrialrevolution.Itwillbeachallengeaswellasanopportunity.Wemustseizetheopportunityduringthisgreatchange.Duringthemid18thcentury,GreatBritaintooktheleadofthefirstwaveoftheIndustrialRevolution,butitseconomicstrengthwassubsequentlysurpassedbytheUnitedStates,China,Germany,andJapan.However,theBritishdidnotgiveuponregainingtheedge;astheworldlookuponglobalwarmingasagreatthreatofthecentury,theBritishconsidersitanewopportunityandaimstolaunchalowcarboneconomyrevolution.

除了產(chǎn)業(yè)上的改變外,個(gè)人習(xí)慣的“調(diào)適”也是至關(guān)重要的。臺(tái)灣的環(huán)境與經(jīng)濟(jì)未來面對氣候變遷災(zāi)難之沖擊似乎是無可避免,而根本解決之道在于社會(huì)大眾意識(shí)的覺醒,我們必須改變過去的生活習(xí)慣,選擇簡樸永續(xù)之生活型態(tài),齊心攜手解決這一世紀(jì)最大問題,努力將各種沖擊降到最低,為下一代的未來爭取最大生機(jī)。
